XE.gr is Greece's largest ad newspaper and online portal. This app grew in stages - from the award-winning car-and-bike-related "Automoto.gr" to the property search "Property.gr" apps which I had built as stand-alone apps, eventually adding jobs and classified sections, and integrating the suite into one big app. This app is built entirely using native UI and was completed in a surprisingly small amount of time. It remains one of the most-used apps in Greece right now.

News & Awards:

  • xe.gr reached #1 in the Greek iTunes app store (displacing Google’s Chrome :)) for more than a week, stayed in the top 10 for more than 2 months, and continues to be in the top-50 overall.

  • The property.gr app won the prestigious 2011 Hermes Bronze Award in Greece.

  • The automoto.gr app won the prestigious 2010 Hermes Gold Award in Greece.
